William Shatner is no stranger to drawing fire, heck he usually does a quick ground roll and easily fires back. Now, his upcoming show is drawing it's own fire from The Parents Television Council over the title "Bleep My Dad Says". According to an article written for the Yahoo TV Blog, The Council is asking major advertisers to not buy ad slots on the upcoming sitcom.
"Parents really do care about profanity when their kids are watching TV," said PTC President Tim Winter. "All parents? No, but something like 80 or 90 percent of parents. Putting an expletive in the title of a show is crossing new territory, and we can't allow that to happen on our watch."CONTINUE READING >>
